When we first moved in we realized that a lot of little things you take for granted when living home with parents suddenly are a big deal. Not so little anymore- and you certainly wish you never took them for granted before.
Things like garbage pails, liners utensils and so on. We had none of that when we first moved in. The previous owner left us with one mid-sized garbage pail and being new owners and having a ton of stuff to get rid of, this little pail was just not making the cut.
However after the first garbage day we had, suddenly, miraculously a new garbage pail anifested. I looked around to see if maybe the garbage man took the neighbors pail and gave it to us by accident, since they tend to be sloppy with where they put stuff once they dump it. However the pail matched up to no one else's pail, and I was left wondering if maybe the sweet lady next door snuck it in and gave it to us.
We left it outside for nearly a week, which was ample time for the right owner to come and claim it... only no one ever did.
Inevitably we ened up using it, as well as a pail we bought on our own. Hot diggity damn though, them Brute pails cost $30.00, which is insane! The one left for us has no brand name on it or anything, but by looking around someone has to be missing it, and I know it was not a cheap pail either.
At any rate, I hope someone claims it eventually because I would hate for them to think we stole it. We did after all leave it out by the curb for them to come for it?
