What Is With All Of The Apple Kitchen Items?!

10 years ago when I thought I was moving into a home I ended up starting a small collection of Apple Kitchy items. -Well that never happened- we never got the house- but if you read my first post that whole story is in there.

At any rate, I ended up with a ton of Apple Kitchen items, not necessarily by choice. It was as if everyone who saw me collecting anything to do with apples, took it upon themselves to add to my collection. Every Christmas, or birthday I had people kept giving me apple themed kitchen items.

After unpacking recently, I came across 3 large apple cookie jars, 4 sets of apple salt and pepper shakers, apple shaped bowls, cups, and mugs. You name it- I have it.

Now the apple theme sort of was a phase, but seeing that I had so much of it already I figured, hey- why not? I can use all of these cute items in the fall, and pack them up to be replaced with other seasonal things.

So far though the apple theme is sticking, and once again I learned to like it. I go through awkward phases, but the apples are not so bad!
That is just a small knick knack apple that I hung on the kitchen door.

And over there you see the apple themed hand towels.

That there in the above shot is an apple salt shaker. I have the pepper shaker nearby, and 2 other apple salt and pepper shakers that I will be donating to a thrift store.
Up there you see an apple themed tea set. Pot and small jar to hold tea bags. I am not a tea drinker at all, but I couldn't part with them.
Here we have a plate holder. I actually like this particular wrought iron piece. It was painted green to look like vines, and tiny red apples added to just add to the apple theme. It is a nice sturdy piece my mom picked up for me at an antique store.

Over here I have an apple sugar bowl. The lid to the left side apple is around somewhere. Maybe on the floor?
This is an apple candle holder. I have yet to find a candle to fit in it. I will likely never use it, yet it takes up occupancy in my home.

----------------------> Another apple bowl. I was only given one of them, and would normally use it for cereal, but for the time being it holds sugar packets.

Down below we have yet another tea pot shaped like an apple.

Last but not least an apple shaped wooden box thing? I could probably put napkins in it, and that is probably what it is supposed to be used for, but for me it worked as my oil holder for my oils that I burn in the (oddly enough) apple red ceramic burner.
