Glitter Paint Done Easy

I am obsessed with the new method of adding glitter to paint that I discovered, that I would like to share for those looking to add a little pizzazz to their walls or DIY paint projects.

After realizing how disappointing the Martha Stewart glitter paints were when they dried, I wanted to discover a new bolder way to add glitter to paint, I wanted the glitter to shine, shimmer and steal the show!

A little thought and I figured out the easiest way to get the most beautiful shimmer and shine when it came to adding glitter to paint. And the method is a hell of a lot easier, and cheaper than buying glitter in bucket loads, and adding it to a clear glaze....

Materials Needed:

1- Any paint color you plan on using.
2- Prismatic/Holographic glitter to get the shimmery rainbow effect when you move
3- A Paint brush
4- Optional- clear can of spray glaze

How to add glitter to paint, walls, and any old project you are painting with:

1- Chose your paint colors. In my case I went with black.

2-  If you notice you will need a second coat of paint, go on and add a second coat of paint

3- While the paint is still tacky you will open up your holographic glitter apply a generous amount to the palm of your hand and slowly blow it onto the tacky paint.

4- Work around the wall/shelf/painted area slowly to ensure even coating.

The result is absolutely spectacular, and the fun part is that the glitter stays! You have the option to really ensure it stays by spraying some clear coat glaze over it, but you truly won't need it.
