Ray and I would visit the home daily to make surte it looked like someone was there, to ward of any copper vandals. Ever since the market crisis, every vacant house around seems to be the target to copper vandals! Uhg...
At any rate, we got lucky, the copper in our home stood untouched for 3 years. I thank the amazing neighbors whom kept a watchful eye on the home.
Anyhow, while we sat eagerly awaiting to move in, e took a few photos of the place before it was even ours... here are some pictures from back in July.
The second story balcony is basically what made me fall instantly in love with this house. I call it my suicide balcony. Haha!
This was dumped in front of the house before it was our house. At first I was mad that someone dumped shit on my dream homes lawn, but when I finally moved in, the crap became fertilizer for my planter flowers! I use everything!
This
was the vague post I put on Facebook to show everyone My Slice. I did not however at all let anyone know it was going to be mine until it was officially mine! But there it is, my slice!Last but not least... the beautiful flowers that were in the front yard. I took a picture of them before they died. Thank God I did, because we did not move in until the Fall! They are long gone now, but I cannot wait to see them make a comeback next summer.
