The Before
I spent the last few days painting my changing room. I finally got my other half out of the room, and he now changes in the other spare bedroom. Getting him to do so literally took a good month, but I have been seeking claim on this room since the very beginning. Lucky me, he finally caved the other day, when I ordered him another hanging rack for the other bedroom... and I am sure the new monster BBQ grill I got him for our anniversary helped sway his decision in my favor! Haha!
At any rate, the colors I used here were Gliddens High Gloss Black Paint, and the pink, my absolute favorite goes to Behr, in Sugar Sweet- 680A-2.
The Behr paint is a bit pricey, and cost me $32.00 for a gallon. I definitely did not need a gallon for the room, a half gallon would have done, because I only needed one coat of this paint. At any rate, I need to finish the french doors, and make some touch ups, but all in all I love the color combination. It may not be for everyone, but it is for ME.
I am not quite finished painting the room, but have been working on it everyday after work, and will not stop until it is finished! It is coming along beautifully, and I will come back to update this post with the finial finished results.
